Word Journeys currently offers four online courses. They are broken into 10 lessons apiece and designed for busy individuals who want to take their writing to the highest possible level while thoroughly enjoying the creative and growth experiences associated with fine writing.

WRITES OF LIFE: Utilizing the experiences, stories, memories, observations, relationships, conversations, dreams, journeys and educational ventures that constitute your life experience to write more compelling fiction, non-fiction, poetry and lyrics. COURSE OVERVIEW

WRITE DEEP, HEAL DEEP: Use the vehicle and expression of writing to open to your greatest physical, emotional, mental and/or spiritual life issues – or how you are interacting with those of your friends – and invoke deep healing. Includes dialoguing, storytelling, exercises for specific health issues, journal exercises and everyday, preventative writing. Includes elements of the spiritual writing and sense-ual writing workshops that Word Journeys offers.

BUILDING THE HOUSE: We bring our popular magazine-writing workshop online. Learn ways of wooing editors and readers with compelling articles, features and columns that work from the local to international levels. Includes: query writing, conversational interviewing techniques, ten different article structures, studying magazines as a writer, and creating a lasting journalistic voice.

THE FINAL PAGE: Our all-in-one tutorial on editing finished articles and manuscripts, preparing book proposals and fiction synopses, finding the right literary agent for you, and marketing and promoting your books.
