What I Thought I Knew, by Barbara Stahura
After writing essays and magazine articles for 15 years, Barbara Stahura breaks out with this outstanding debut essay collection, wrapped around the experiences she had following the near-fatal motorcycle accident suffered by her husband, Ken Willingham. The essays spell out what happens when everything we thought we knew can no longer inform or guide us … and it’s time to gather more wisdom and try another approach, no matter at what station we are in life. Releasing in July.
The Uncommon Path, by Mick Quinn
Mick Quinn has traveled through Europe and the U.S. for years, presenting another way to live—one that produces power and grace in whatever we do. We assisted him with his book proposal, which was picked up in 2006 by Corona Borealis, one of Spain’s top publishers. Now, noted spiritual living publisher O Books has agreed to publish The Uncommon Path in English. Look for it in 2009.

Writing Your Most Delicious Secret
What is the most delicious secret you’ve ever personally experienced? What within you that are so tantalizing, so unforgettable, so dangerous or so wild that it would blow the doors off everyone you know if revealed? And why is the secret so delicious that you return to its memory over and over? Write out your most delicious secret, using food metaphors when describing it so you can taste, eat or drink from it over and over again. Draw it fully out of the sanctum of your heart and body, spreading some of its magic and wonder into the other areas of your writing and your life.
