Self-Publishing Your Book or e-Book? Here’s a Solution
During the past two years, several collaborative publishing houses have produced hundreds of titles with little or no support provided to the authors. Now, a new era of print-on-demand publishing features a company run by veteran writers and editors, for writers – at substantially lower prices than competitors.
Creative Juices is the umbrella for a number of self-publishing imprints for individual fiction and non-fiction titles, as well as series of business, how-to, young adult and adult titles. Here’s what we do:
• Compose, produce and print your book
• Provide optional top-level editing services
• Assign ISBN number and obtain Copyright
• List in the Ingrams distributor catalog
• Send advance notices to key book reviewers
• Publicize your book on the Creative Juices website, which is visited by bookstore owners, librarians and individuals
• Provide reduced cost for books that enables you to maximize sales profits
For more details on publishing programs, go to www.creativejuicespublishing.com.

We’ve upgraded our book proposal, book publicity and author publicity programs to provide you top-level service that aligns with the requirements of literary agents, editors and publishers alike. Our newest author publicity programs include question-and-answer interviews for print and web, development of electronic press kits and author websites, and tie-ins to book publicity nationwide. We’ve talked directly with more than two dozen agents, editors and publishers in developing these services, specifically crafted to sell books in the 21st century.

Spiritual Writing Workshop in Tampa October 7
Spiritual Writing will be the theme of the day when Bob Yehling returns to Harmony Metaphysical Church in Tampa October 7 for a full-day workshop, co-sponsored by Koboca Publishing and Creative Juices Publishing. Bob will work with participants on life stories, journals, fiction, non-fiction and poetry to explore the ways in which our spiritual lives, beliefs and studies can intermingle with our words and characters. This is both a revealing and fun workshop, with plenty of exercises to keep writing muscles going. An optional reading will be held at the end of the day for those interested in sharing their work with others. Bob will also give an overview of the spiritual writing market. Cost of this workshop is $50. 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Harmony Metaphysical Church. For more information or to register, write to bob, or call 917-826-7880.

Coming Soon: Coyotes in Broad Daylight
Bob Yehling’s Coyotes in Broad will be released by Koboca Publishing in December 2006. More than 50 all-new poems, song-poems and essays are featured in this collection, which loosely explores the faces, masks and covers of our society and our daily lives. Bob will preview the collection in Evansville, IN on June 22; also listen for audio readings on www.kobocapublishing.com later in the fall.

Sense-ual Writing featured in October Science of Mind magazine
The October issue of Science of Mind magazine will feature Bob Yehling’s article on “Sense-ual Writing,” a core element in his Writes of Life workshop program and accompanying book. “Sense-ual Writing” takes off from Rudolf Steiner’s conclusion that we have 12 physical senses – not five – and shows how writers and diarists/journal writers can use the senses, and their deepest memories, to bring out the greatest truths and stories in their writing. This is the fourth writing-related article Bob has penned for Science of Mind.

Grist for the Pen
• Writing is a vehicle of expression; your skills at putting words and feelings together will bend and mold to the specific needs of any given session. With writing, you can express your deepest feelings, describe the energy of what afflicts or concerns you, give definition and form to the invisible space of suffering within, converse on paper with the higher parts of yourself that rise above pain and connect with solutions, freely emote all the laughs, tears, rages, frustrations and screams that words and punctuation marks can offer … and do it all again the next day.
From Write Deep Heal Deep, by Robert Yehling, to be published in 2007

• Presence is the most important state of being for any successful writer. Focus, attention, concentration, creativity and potential join forces in the present moment. Only through presence can we enter the Creative Dream. Only through presence can we observe something, derive a relationship between it and our lives – or our subjects or characters’ lives – and write something fresh and new.

They Said It
“Memory is re-membering: Bringing back to life bits and pieces of what once was
– Jeanette Winterson, Art & Lies

“All of us come to crucial moments in life when we realize that our strengths cannot continue to expand and deepen unless we overcome their resistance points.” – Mary Caroline Richards
